Our Shul - Congregation Bais Torah
Welcome to Congregation Bais Torah, a warm and friendly Orthodox shul founded by Rabbi Berel Wein.
Now under the leadership of Rabbi Yisrael Gottlieb, we offer three daily Minyanim, a full program of classes including two Daf Yomi shiurim and many shiurim for men and women, Scholar in Residence program, Guest Lecture Series and a host of Shabbat and Yom Tov activities for youth and adults.
Bordering on the Monsey Community, Bais Torah is centrally located with an eruv, mikvaot, a Chevra Kadisha and a plethora of restaurants and Kosher food shopping to satisfy everyone's taste. Yeshivot of every type from day care thru high school as well as many day camps and post yeshiva study as well as Rockland Community College.

Our Rav - Rabbi Yisroel Gottlieb
Rabbi Yisroel Gottlieb was born and raised in Monsey, New York. He studied at Yeshivat Sha'alvim in Israel, a graduate of Yeshiva University, attended Benjamin N. Cordozo School of Law and received his rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Bezalel Rudinsky.
Bais Torah's spiritual leader since September 2006, Rabbi Gottlieb's impressive speaking ability, infectious love of learning and great warmth have generated an enthusiasm throughout the community. Additionally, Rabbi Gottlieb serves as General Studies Principal of Yeshiva Darchei Noam and lectures to the Semicha program of the Yeshivas Ohr Reuven Kollel L'Halacha.
Rabbi Gottlieb is married to Amy Ginsberg , also a Monsey native who teaches at the Yeshiva of Spring Valley. The Gottliebs are the proud parents of six children.
