The Very Least
of P.D.Q. Bach

A concert of P.D.Q. Bach's biggest and baddest orchestral works

Tuesday Evening, January 2, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center

Peter Schickele, Conductor, Soloist and Host
New York Philharmonic, Xian Zhang, Conductor

Tickets: $60

One of today's most versatile composers, writers and humorists, Peter Schickele is associated with Professor Peter Schickele, his   crazy, unkempt, absent-minded alter ego and professor of music at the University of Southern   North Dakota at Hoople.

The professor's claim to fame is the discovery
of P.D.Q. Bach,
the last and least son of J.S.
and composer of impressive near-misses such as, "1712 Overture," "The Safe Sextet," the "Schleptet in E-Flat," and other classics.

Now Professor Peter Schikele rejoins the Philharmonic for a nonstop cavalcade of the hits that got him in so much trouble
in the first place.
